Why a hub is necessary

A phone that isn’t on your Wi-Fi cannot block a device. That’s physics, not a missing feature.

What we collect

Device metadata from scans you run, your household members and their permissions, the audit trail, and account details such as your email address. The security page has the full list, including what we deliberately do not collect.

Why we collect it

To identify devices, to enforce permissions across your household, and to show you a history you can search. We do not use household data for advertising and we do not sell it.

Where it is stored

Household data for Premium accounts is stored in India, encrypted in transit and at rest. Free-tier scan results stay on the device that produced them.

How long we keep it

For as long as your household exists. Free accounts keep seven days of event history; Premium keeps it until you delete it. Deletion removes data within thirty days, including from backups.

Your rights

You can export your timeline, correct your account details, and delete your household at any time from the app. Write to support@netraapp.com if you would rather we did it for you.

Children

Netra is not directed at children. A household Admin may create accounts for family members; those accounts are the Admin’s responsibility.

Terms of use

Using Netra

Scan networks you own or have permission to scan. Using Netra against a network you have no right to examine is a misuse of the product and may be an offence.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account, including permissions you grant to household members and guests. Admins can see and change what Standard members can do.

What Netra is not

Netra is a visibility and household access tool. It is not an antivirus, not a firewall, and without a Home Hub it cannot enforce anything at the network level. Nothing on this site should be read as a guarantee that your home cannot be compromised.

Subscriptions

Premium is billed monthly or annually and can be cancelled at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. Downgrading moves you to the free tier rather than deleting your data.

Changes

We may change these terms. Material changes will be notified in the app before they take effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Indian law, with courts in India having jurisdiction.

Cookie policy

What this site uses

netraapp.com uses a small number of cookies and local storage entries: one to remember your theme choice, one to remember your language, and analytics to count page visits.

What it does not use

No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no third-party pixels for retargeting.

Your choice

Clearing your browser storage removes all of it. The site works without any of them; you will simply be asked for your theme preference again.
